A Week of Sunsets

All of you who remain unaware of Lake Michigan’s nearly perfect white sand beaches should acquaint yourself of its beauty at least once before you throw off this mortal coil. I spent the last week there, just south of Pentwater, and still have sand in my shoes. The earth has been around for something like 4.54 billion years. Each one of those years has 365 sunsets. Each one of those is different from all the others. Here are a week of sunsets from the year 2011, the month of August. You may see better, but you’ll never see the like of them again.
