Apologies to regular readers for my absence. The RBR has been taking advantage of no school or work this August to get out of town. I’ll be back at the helm at the end of the weekend after my return to the Wolverine State. The reading list for this downtime has included Cormac McCarthy’s Blood Meridian, a Lenin collection on The Split in the International, The Black Hearts of Men by John Stauffer and a lesiurely page through Twain’s still-scathing A Pen Warmed in Hell. A hearty congratulations to the Cuban baseball team for humiliating the Yanks in the Olympics as well as to Dayron Robles for the 110m hurdle. Hasta la victoria siempre!
Enjoy these last days of Summer comrades.
