    Agree totally on Their Morals and Ours. Some folks don’t like it, they think Trotsky was too eager to draw hard lines, as if the approach of the Second World War wasn’t drawing hard lines any way. Even in the “best” of times society is riven by contending forces with competing moralities. The recognition of the world as it is only imposes the truth. Reading it again in light of recent events is like a breath of fresh air. “The first task of a revolutionary is to break with bourgeois morality”. Indeed.
